Senior DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and secure infrastructures in Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and implement best practices for monitoring, security, and reliability.

• You design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, creating a future-proof technological foundation.
• You develop and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines using tools such as BitBucket Pipelines or Azure DevOps to ensure a smooth software lifecycle.
• By using Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, Ansible, …, you automate our infrastructure and increase its efficiency and repeatability.
• You monitor system performance, ensure high availability, scalability, and security, and proactively respond to potential issues.
• In close collaboration with our Development and QA teams, you continuously optimize our deployment processes.
• You take responsibility in critical situations, from incident response and root cause analyses to post-mortems.
• You regularly evaluate new technologies and tools to strategically advance our infrastructure.

• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly services such as AKS, Azure Functions, App Services, VMs, VSphere, and VNETs or experience in other cloud vendors.
• You are proficient in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• You have hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Your knowledge of network architectures, cloud security, and best practices is up to date.
• You are familiar with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, CheckMK or Zabbix.
• You work confidently with version control systems (e.g. Git) and have practical experience with CI/CD platforms.
• You bring a solution-oriented mindset, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-104, or equivalent are a plus.
